Founded by Florian Arseneault and Alexandre Vienneau, the firm was born from a shared commitment: to provide high-quality, accessible legal services rooted in the everyday reality of New Brunswick's residents and businesses.
Located in the heart of downtown Bathurst in the Harbourview Building, the firm serves individuals and businesses throughout the Chaleur region and beyond.

Florian Arseneault
PARTNER · LAWYER
Florian is originally from Petit-Rocher and has lived in Bathurst since 1994. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science (1985) from the Université de Moncton, a Bachelor of Laws (1988) from the Université du Québec à Montréal, and a Bachelor of Laws (1990) from the Université de Moncton.
Called to the New Brunswick Bar in 1991, Florian first practised at the firm of Robert Boudreau from 1990 to 1997, then at Robichaud, Williamson, Godin, Thériault, Johnson in Bathurst from 1997 to 2006. From 2007 to 2013, he was a partner at Robichaud, Thériault, Riordon, Arseneault, and from 2013 to 2026 at Riordon & Arseneault alongside Gregory Riordon, Q.C.
Outside the office, Florian enjoys fishing, hunting, snowshoeing, and ATV rides. A music lover, he plays several instruments. He is the father of two adult daughters in the Chaleur region and a proud grandfather. He has long been involved with non-profit organizations at the regional, provincial, and national levels, including the AJEFNB, Club Richelieu Bathurst, Conseil économique du Diocèse de Bathurst, Centre canadien de français juridique, Fédération des juristes d'expression française, and CBDC Chaleur.
Alexandre Vienneau
PARTNER · LAWYER
Alexandre is originally from Petit-Rocher and currently lives in Beresford. He holds a Bachelor of Physical Education (2015) and a Juris Doctor (2018) from the Université de Moncton. During his time at the Faculty of Law, he received numerous awards and distinctions in moot court competitions (McKelvey, Sopinka, Gale, and Pierre-Amand Landry).
Called to the New Brunswick Bar in 2019, Alexandre first practised at Fidelis Law in Moncton for three years, then served as Executive Director of the Association des juristes d'expression française du Nouveau-Brunswick from 2021 to 2024. He joined the firm Riordon & Arseneault in 2025.
Outside the office, Alexandre loves spending time with his wife and son — travelling, sharing gourmet meals, and enjoying the outdoors. An avid sports enthusiast, he has played soccer, hockey, golf, volleyball, baseball, tennis, and badminton. He is actively involved in his community through volunteer work, including as a coach and board member for organizations such as the AJEFNB, Chaleur Chamber of Commerce and Northern New Brunswick Airport Authority, and La Coopérative La Barque.
Originally from Saint-Quentin, Carole began her administrative career at Forest Design from 1999 to 2006 before joining Riordon & Arseneault as a legal assistant in 2007. At Arseneault & Vienneau LLP, she handles wills, powers of attorney, estate files, and all corporate and commercial matters, and serves as the firm's bookkeeper and office manager. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, berry picking, and running her own small business, The Jam Lady, where she sells homemade preserves at the Bathurst Community Market every Saturday morning.
Originally from the Chaleur region, Laurie Ann began her career as a legal assistant in 1993 and was employed at Riordon & Arseneault from 2017 to 2026. At Arseneault & Vienneau LLP, she is responsible for real estate files. Married with three adult sons, she is also a proud grandmother. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching movies.

Yes — our firm proudly offers full legal services in both English and French.
Our staff will let you know which documents are required, but you will most certainly need to bring two original copies of government-issued ID. If you are buying or selling a property, you will also need a copy of your birth certificate. If you own a business, please bring your constituting documents for your corporation.
Depending on the matter, our legal fees may be a flat fee, hourly billing, or a combination of both.
Yes. We offer in-person, telephone, and virtual meetings depending on the matter.
Yes. We regularly assist clients throughout New Brunswick and Canada.
